ulusi1
Most all religions are stories or hearsay. most were penned after the demise of the main character, sometimes centuries afterward, their main legacy committed topaper after their death , relying on the ability and nclincation of their follwoers. we are to assume that their followers are accurate and just as committed to that particualr barnd of truth as the originator of that philosphy,
wha are the chances that anything has survived such scrutiny?
has ours?
no proof of that...is there?
further many differences between I amdn muslimism. 2 separate issues. i is the document purportedly left behind by the prophet.
muslimism si what we have now. cult like in its starkness and insistence on adherence to outdated concepts and practices, refusing a renewed interpretation, and a frightening desire to living in the past. it is true we learn from history and are doomed to repeat it if we do not learn from it..but what part of that history and he morals that are repeated to us ad infinitum and ad nauseum are accurate in the first place?
for example______________
further repeating something through generations also incurs the rite of morphogenesis or the 100th monkey. and if it is a lie that is being perpetrated then over years assumes a holographic density disproportionate to its validity ( or lack thereof).
do we know anymore what the original religion was like?
what part of it was derived from pbuh and what from his followers..how do we differentiate unless we are allowed to interpret and contemplate for ourselves and are permitted a healthy discussion. why are we afraid ?
what is our understanding and concept of A?
Examples from authoritative sources.at least 10, from different schools of thought_______
how a is referred to in the Q...atleast 10 examples_____________
how many of us are entitled to speak in the name of A ..the prohet was and he was the last living person to do so. from then on anone so inclined can and should be allowed to interpet religion their own way and follow it their own way without any compulsion, as long a s the do nto compel others to do no..not ven their own families. everyine should have the ability to to create and come to an understanding of the i in light of their own ability.

Why and how do the five pillars impact our spiritual growth. Are they effective without full comprehension? why or why not?

Beginnings
This time hopefully with a greater degree of persistence since now i have an overarching mission and clearer end goal.
In the interim since i wrote last i have had some major insights and done some major work ~ probably the most significant and most relevant commitment wise was the theta healing workshop. That one was a true blessing.
Also yesterday i had some major 'd-uh!' insights:
1. A clearer understanding of "what i attract to me is a clear mirror of what i
think". I think of my self as a small version of A. not in a heretical sense, but understanding that A has given us some a part of himself, or the fact that he is 'nearer to us than our jugular vein' imbues us with some of his essence. thus just as he manifests whatsoever he wishes, so to do we. the thing to remember is that our manifestation speed and accuracy varies in proportion to our godliness. how close are we to him in terms of our goodness, moral uprightness and understanding of him by morality i do not mean the strait laced version but the one that encompasses kindness, goodness and a real love for this planet. thus happiness and joy leads to manifestation, and worry leads to problems.
2.Also how true are our feelings in relation to our expectations?
do we desire the riches of this world yet are afraid we cant handle the responsibility that comes with it ?
if yes then we wont get it, for the fear tells our subconscious that no, i am not ready for it...if by some force of desire we do get them we will most always lose them in record time, unless we modulate our behavior and wavelength to one of richness and deserving।
3.The events and ppl in my life have been a mirror of MY emotional and worthiness state. So what does this tell me of the ppl and events that I have received in my life?
what does this say of my state of worthiness, and my ability to project my thoughts and expectations in the hologram world?
Lets see:
A--> settling for what I could not tolerate and living with that sense of contrast.
A--> more of the above, and then some even less than that; a sense of shame and guilt and wrongdoing.
E-->even worse, proof positive of the depth that I had sunk to, to the extent that it involved my child.
R-->sinking lower and lower, and settling for less and less, robbed in every sense of the word, deceived with eyes wide shut, hitting rock bottom. Poor health, poor self esteem and giving till i had nothing left to give. I cry tears of blood for myself.
F-->a sign of better times only when i was in complete surrender and not willing to settle for anything less than what felt right to me. Still not completely there yet, but a huge improvement over what I done in the past. A keeper and will stay the course , and rise higher from now on. And remember that rising does not meaning compromise in any sense of the word unless you subscribe to the notion that it is. You are what you think. It is possible to have it all
4.Getting some sense of the meaning of 'As above, so below'.
In this context, what does , my below say about my above? Reverse metaphysics...or the biggest clue to belief work.
Having a good partner: I deserve and am open to having one
Not being fit: Fitness is hard work, i dont deserve good health,i dont deserve to be my ideal at all times. Important to discriminate between what is perfect health and physique for me or my desire, and what is hologram's idea of it.
Not having my desired career. Again what is the difference between my ideal life's work and what it would look like in practice, without regard to what the world expects?
My ideal house or this home that i love so much: how can i manifest change in it to mirror what i want in my house? Start with a room. Start with clutter clearing and space clearing of the whole home.
Some things: cassette player, i tunes, record player, crafts surface, sewing machine table, crystals, bookshelf, candles, labyrinth, dream catcher, always in transition and always in movement.
More later. much more!

the humility of islam
First of all I would like to point out that this particular post is an admonishment to myself, for my heart is full of pride, conceit , vanity and arrogance I pray that Allah cures me of these diseases.I in no way intend to hurt or injure the feelings of others.
Hazrat Umar Al Farooq (ra) appointed Abu Musa Al Ashari (ra)
as the Governor of Basra. On his arrival He addressed the people and said:
" The Amir has ordered me to rule over you justly, to teach you your religion and to sweep your streets."
The people were amazed the Governor is going to sweep our streets they said in bewilderment. For they had never heard of a ruler, who acted in such humility. The false Pride of Jahiliyah had perished, and the Humility of Islam had arrived.
Some points to reflect.
Brothers and sisters look at our condition, in our youth and our zeal we think we are going to change the world. Through our arrogance and conceit we think that we and only we are capable of transforming the fortunes of the ummah.
Subhanallah we think it is beneath us to sweep the floors and clean the wash area's of the Masajid. We cannot even humble ourselves in the Masajid
Yet we think we are capable of changing the world, Abu musa al Ashari (ra) is sweeping the streets of Basra, he did not say I am the governor this is beneath me. He did not think of this task as demeaning he saw it as an act of Honour, he did not see himself as a leader but as a servant. Yet we are afflicted with the diseases of Hubb e Jah (love of fame and leadership), Hubb e Maal (love of wealth), Hubb e dunya ( love of dunya), Takkabur (pride and conceit). The Sahaaba Humbled themselves before Allah, and the world humbled itself before them. Their hearts emanated the fragrance of the Prophets (saw) Ikhlaaq and Adaab.
Here are the words of shaykh Masood Azhar mujahid (dB) He says:
" When the love of the Prophet (saw) and his sunna dominated their hearts,
Those who were misguided became the guides of others.
Those who were dead were brought back to life. These arab 's who were not considered worthy of being conquered, these forgotten people living in isolation, were revived and elevated. The world humbled itself before them.
" Umar Al Farooq (ra) is sitting by a hillside and crying someone asked, "oh Amir Al mumineen what is the matter", he replied:" As a child I used to graze Camels and sheep, my Paternal aunt used to admonish me and Say "Oh Umar you cannot even graze animals, what will you accomplish in life when you can't even do this simple task." I marvel at how Allah has raised a worthless one like me to the rank of Amir ul mumineen.
Once Abu Sufyan (ra) went to see Hazrat Umar al Farooq (ra), he was told to wait because the the Amir is busy.
A while later Hazrat Bilal (ra) the abyssinian arrived. When Hazrat Umar Al Farooq was informed of Bilal(ra) arrival he came dashing out of his quarters
hugged him and kissed him on the forehead and led him into his quarters.
Abu Sufyans (ra) old pride and nobility took over he felt slighted and said: "I am also a muslim yet I am made to wait whilst Bilal (ra), is given direct access, am I not worthy of equal treatment."
Somebody said: " Oh Abu Sufyan think back to those days when you use to raise your sword in enemity towards the muslims, whilst Bilal (ra) used to humble himself before Allah and his messenger. Allah has made a tribal chief, a nobleman of the Quraish like you wait whilst he has elevated the position of Bilal (ra), think to the days of jahiliyah he was someone who had no voice, who was given no rights was enslaved by your people, he humbled himself before Allah and his messenger and today the Amir al Muineen addresses Bilal (ra) as his master.Oh Abu sufyan fear Allah for your heart is still full of vain pride.Abu Sufyan (ra) Started sobbing uncontrollably."
Khalid Ibn Al Walid(ra) Is the Commander of the Muslim Army, he is given the title the sword of Allah by none other than the Prophet of Allah (saw). He is removed from his position of leadership by Umar (ra), some of the Mujahideen are upset and talk about a mutiny . Khalid Ibn Al Walid speaks and says: " The Amir has asked me to resign my position, we do not consider positions of leadership with pride our sole purpose should be to strive in the way of Allah, If Allah wills that I should lead than I shall lead if Allah wills that I should carry the sandals of the Mujahadeen then I will carry them with pride."
Look at our condition today, if we are moved from any worldly position we feel insulted and immediately form a splinter group. We fight over leadership in the Masajids, we consider it demeaning to sweep the floor of the Masajid yet we fight over the leadership. Than we complain and wonder why muslims all over the world are being humiliated. They are being humiliated because our hearts are sick they are completely devoid of humility and Ikhlaq, each one of us wants a position of leadership, but none of us is willing to do the work or take action. The Sahaba were people of action.
If the streets where we live are strewn with rubbish do we ever think of picking up a broomstick and sweep up the rubbish, or scrub the graffiti of the walls. No instead what we do is form action committees so we can complain to the council we say after all we pay our taxes we are entitled to a road sweeper, we spend months complaining and fighting over the leadership of these committees.
We form action committees, but we take no action ourselves, the Sahaba were people of action. Each and everyone of them was a treasure a priceless jewel.
And everyone of them was a miracle from the miracles of our Beloved Prophet(saw).
This is why George Bernard Shaw was moved to Say " If a Man like Muhammad (Saw) was to assume the dictatorship of the world, the world would be filled with peace, Justice and Harmony."
This is why Thomas Carlyle Labeled Him (saw) as "The Hero among all Prophets."One who civilized the unruly tribes of arabia and elevated them to ranks that few mortals could reach.
Were is our humility we think of nothing but ourselves we are full of arrogance and conceit, we take great pride in our Job titles , and our Bank balances we degrade others who might have less wordily things then us. We are incapable of picking up a broom and sweeping our own street yet we think we are the solution to the problems of the Ummah.Where are those who have the humility of Abu Musa Al Ashari(ra) amongst us.
Hazrat Ayesha As Siddiqa (ra) is fasting some poor person Knock's on the door asking for provisions, she hands over everything in the house. As evening arrives it is the time of Iftar there is nothing in the house to open the fast with a maid servant asks "Oh mother of the Believers, did you not think of keeping something for yourself to open the fast with." Ayesha As Siddiqa (ra) replied "I am sorry but I forgot about myself". She opens her fast with a sip of water.
She(ra) forgot about herself, The wife of the Prophet(SAW) the daughter of Abu Bakr
AS Siddiq (ra) did not take her own needs into consideration.
Yet we think of nothing but ourselves. We are incapable of offering one sajda in humility.
Much more could be written on this topic ,but for now I think this will suffice.
I would like to reiterate that the defects I have highlighted are those that I see in myself, I pray that Allah guides me towards goodness. This post is not intended to injure the feelings of anyone else or pass judgement upon them.
If any of you find benefit in what has been written all praise is for Allah, the
mistakes are all mine and I pray that Allah forgives me.
May Allah remove pride an arrogance in all our hearts, and gives us the tawfiq to follow in the footsteps of our Beloved prophet (saw) and his Sahaba ameen.
Allah Will test you
A brother was listening to a lecture by a famous Scholar, The scholar talked about
Islamic Ikhlaq and how we should be respectful and courteous to others, even though they may not be polite or courteous towards us. For the true test of fairness is to be fair to those who are not to us. The brother felt inspired by this lecture and made a commitment, that from now on he would be courteous, and polite towards others in all circumstances.
The following morning as he headed of to work, he thought I will now put what I have learned into action, and the best place would be on the bus on my way to work. Now often you get bus drivers who having had a bad day or been abused by a passenger and end up taking out there temper on other passengers. So he thought no matter what kind of mood the bus driver is in I am going to be very polite ask him how he is, and behave in a courteous manner towards him. When he boarded the bus, he found the bus driver to be a very friendly chap. He stood next to the drivers cab and engaged in a thoroughly enjoyable conversation, this was perhaps the best journey to work he had ever had.
During the day he made a point of being polite and courteous to all his colleauges and people he came across.
However on his way home as he got on the bus he tried making conversation with the bus driver, the driver being in a bad mood was very abrupt and rude and told him to "shut up and take a seat, I'm not in the mood to listen to your nonsense." The Brother being tired after a hard days work, lost his temper and got into an argument with the driver.
Later on in the evening as he was sitting at home he reflected on what had happened. He said to himself " I very rarely get into arguments, but on the first day I made a commitment to be polite and courteous to others no matter what the circumstances I ended up engaging in one. Allah tested my sincerity but I ended up failing the test the very first time I came across a rude person during the day."
Story Written by Julaybib.
point's to reflect upon:
How often do we feel inspired when listening to a lecture or reading a book, and make a commitment to change ourselves. Are we not like the brother in the story, we back track as we are tested by Allah. our commitment is short lived. Usually we are not capable of passing the simplest of tests, what happens to us when we are hit by a major illness or afflicted with calamitys, we stop praying we whinge and moan about our difficulty circumstances.
We should also reflect on the behavior of the Bus driver how often have we reacted like him. We have a bad day at work, or something else happens to put us in a bad mood, so we end up taking our frustrations, and anger out on a completely innocent individual.
Allah have mercy on us and May he give us the tawfiq to have sabr in all circumstances ameen.
charity does not decrease wealth
There was this young brother named zaid in a small town. He had very little money left but enough to get by. However he had no job and he has to pay a few thousand bucks for an enrichment course he was going to take and he was worried about how he was going to pay for it. One day, he saw a brother at a masjid and saw that he does not seem to be from the same town. Upon talking to the brother, zaid realised that the brother was in a worse condition than him financially and helped him with some of the little money he had. On the same night, Zaid received a phone call that he had been offered a job.
Moral: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) has said: "Sadaqah (charity) does not decrease wealth." (Muslim)
Mut-ma'een
Jazak Allah for your kind comments, I would humbly request your duas as I am not in the best of health at the moment.
I would just like to point out that my posts in this thread are not a reflection of who I am but who I am struggling with great difficulty to become. The defects I have highlighted are the ones I have noticed In myself, may Allah forgive me and give me hidayyah.
I remember visiting a Fabric store in Pakistan. During my conversation with the owner he stated:
" Brother I came to Pakistan as a refugee from Afghanistan, I used to go from village to village selling various goods, walking on foot for miles, I prayed that Allah give me a Motorbike and all my problems would be solved. Allah blessed me with a Motorbike then I had a desire that if only I had a Truck then my livelihood would increase, and the financial difficulties would be solved for me and my family. Allah blessed me with a Truck I then thought to myself If only I had a store, Allah has now blessed me with a Shop.
Brother when I was walking Barefoot I was Poor now that I have become a Shopkeeper earning thousands of rupees I am still poor. Yesterday I was poor , today I am still poor The heart of a Human is never satisfied."
It is Narrated that a man came to Shaykh Junaid Al Baghdadi : and Presented a gift of gold coins for the Shaykh and his students. The Shaykh handed him the money back and said: "we do not require anything from a poor man like your self." The man said "I am very wealthy." The shaykh said:" Do you desire an increase in your wealth" the man said:"Yes of course". The Shaykh said: "Despite all that Allah has blessed you with your heart still desires more, who can be more poor then you are, take your money for you are more in need of it than us."
May Allah Make our hearts content with what we have, and remove the disease of poverty in our hearts ameen.
Dawah in Action.
I remember a brother talking about a shaykh (whose name I have unfortunately forgotten) This shaykh moved to a new neighbourhood in Florida. "On the first day he moved into his new home, he went and knocked on every door on his street and politely introduced himself. Occasionaly when he went shopping, he would buy something for his neighbours. If he was mowing the lawn in his garden,
he would go say to his neighbours. " You Know I am mowing my lawn anyway, Would like me to do your garden when I am finished." If one of his neighbours fell ill he would visit them regularly and offer to help out in what ever way he can. On occasions he would be seen with a Broom stick in his hand sweeping the entire street.
The Neighbours who were all Non-Muslim , when they went on holiday would leave there house keys with him. In short all the people grew to love him and had great respect for Islam, now he never preached to anyone, he acted as a muslim and inculcated the Ikhlaq and characteristics of our pious predecessors. By this means his every action became dawah. The greatest method of Dawah is indeed through action.
Similarly Shaykh Hussain Abdul Sattar states in one of his lectures Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmed (db) told one of his mureeds who started a new job , and the Mureed was upset because the pay was'nt so good the Shaykh told him to be patient and work in such a way, that your Employers will think how will we survive if he leaves, the Mureed did as he was told within a few months he got promoted and started receiving a larger paycheck. Imagine the repect his Employers would have developed for Islam, just by the fact they had a muslim employee who was doing more work then he was being payed for.
Something to reflect:
What is the state of our condition, we will carry a grudge with a neighbor for years over something trivial. If we have a job we do less amount of work then we are being payed for if we get Payed $10 an hour we only do $5 amount of work. Through our behavior our own relatives and friends are driven away from the deen. We preach to them about Islam, yet our Ikhlaq and Adaab is far removed from Islam.
It is narrated that a few muslims went to a Zoroastrian and started preaching to him the words of Islam. The Zoroastrian said " If it is the Islam of Abu yazid al Bistami (ra) ( the famous saint) you are talking about I fear that I will not be able to do it justice . If it is the Islam that you people practice I am sorry I cannot believe in it for your very actions repulse me.
May Allah give us all the tawfiq to practice the deen in its entirety and in particular a sinner like me ameen.
Giving thanks for what I have: feet and shoes in abundance!
Sultan Ibrahim ibn Adam (ra) was a Saint who gave up his Kingdom, and chose to spend his life in worship; Somebody once asked him "you gave up kingship of the land of Balkh, did you ever feel in your heart remorse."
He replied: " only one time did a thought of self pity occur to me, I had been walking barefoot for days my feet were swollen and wounded I was in extreme pain, I felt regret that I had no Shoes; All of a sudden I heard the Azaan, and as I was heading towards the Mosque, I saw a man entering the mosque and he was crawling on his hands for he had no feet; I said to myself you complain that you have no shoes, yet this servant of Allah has no feet, at that moment I fell down in repentance"
Something to reflect:
"I complained that I had no Shoes yet he had no feet." How many of us think like this, we see people all around us who live in worst circumstances then us;
When a calamity strikes we complain and say why did this happen to me?
We are completely devoid of excercising patience at times of difficulty or expressing gratitude for the blessings we have. Do we ever reflect on how blessed the gift of eyesight is; Or how blessed we are if we have the ability to walk. We never look at those who are blind or in wheelchairs and reflect at how fortunate we are.
We only notice those who have more wordly things than us and complain how deprived we are."
Allah give us all the tawfeeq to express gratitude and exercise patience in all circumstances ,especially a hypocrite like me who is completely devoid of these qualities ameen;
Act on it: even if its only 5%
A Young professor of botany arrived at a small village, to study the local plant species, he met an old Man ,and asked him if there where any guest houses near by, where he could stay for the night. The old man said there where no guest houses, but he would be honoured if he would stay with him, besides he lived on his own and would really enjoy some company.
As the evening progressed the subject turned towards religion. The young professor started boasting about his religious Knowledge, the Young professor had studied the works of Imam Ghazali (ra), Shaykh Abdul Qadir Gilani (ra) amongst many others.
The Old Man was fascinated to hear the words, of the great Scholars being relayed to him, and listened intently. The old man noticed that despite the young professors vast Knowledge , of religion, he did not offer prayers, nor was his manner of sitting speaking or even eating according to the sunnah.
The young Professor carried on boasting, about his Knowledge . Finally the old man spoke and said " my Son Only a blind man knows the value of eyesight, whilst those of us who are blessed with it take it for granted. My son I have spent my entire life in regret that, I am illiterate and cannot read and I did not get the opportunity, to learn from the great works of all the scholars you have mentioned. Yet I ask you my son what is the use of all the knowledge you have gained, when you cannot bring yourself to make one sajda before your creator, what use is such knowledge my son? The young Professor, was silenced upon hearing this. He announced he was tired and went to sleep. The old mans wise counsel had no effect on him."
Story Written by Julaybib.
Something to think about:
Is not our condition like the young professor, we study book after book, we spend hours listening to lectures; Yet we have no inclination to put into practice what we learn. Even admonishments, come to us whether through illness, poverty or other afflictions yet we remain in slumber, and like the young Professor we fall asleep, we gain nothing from our knowledge other than arrogance and boast fullness.
May Allah give us all the tawfiq to practice what we learn and embrace Islam in its entirety especially a Sinner like me ameen.
Remember remember: Me first!
Another poet says ' Today people are running to greet me, praise me and take my hand but if the really knew my past, they would not even take out time to greet me from a distance...' The illustrious Hanza'la (may Allah be pleased with him) was a true role model. He proved that we need to make Islaah. I mean, if he could feel the difference of imaan when he was alone and when he was with the nabi (saw), and he considered himself a Munafiq..... aaaaaa what can we say about our plight... |
there is no God but You, Glory be to You, I am from amongst the oppressors.
Not my tribe, not the desbelievers, not the people who drove me away, but I.
Dua of Jonah
consider the dua of Jonah (a.s), when he said 'My rabb i am from those who have wronged themselves'
Alhamdolillah: the way to true dawah!
In the village of Kandhala in India a dispute arose between the muslims and the Hindus over some land; the hindus claimed that the land belonged to them and wanted to build a temple on it, the muslims claimed the land belonged to them and wanted to build a mosque on it.
The case went to court, both sides were asked to produce evidence as to whom the land belonged to. The Hindus said there is a pious elder in our village called Illahi Baksh (ra) what ever testimony he gives we will accept it. The Muslims were delighted, after all one of their own would be able to testify on their behalf, so they also stated that Shaykh Illahi Baksh's(ra) verdict would be acceptable to them.
Shaykh Illahi Baksh(ra) was summoned to court and asked who the Land belonged to he said: " I don't know who the land belongs to, but one thing I do Know is that it does not belong to the Muslims."
So the Hindus Won the court case the deeds of the land were handed over to them. In the courtroom their was chaos, the Muslims were incensed, as the Shaykh was leaving the court people were jostling him, shouting insults calling him a Hindu agent etc.
As he managed to extract him self from the mob of Muslim's. the Hindus were waiting on the other side, the Hindus came over and said:"Maulana Sahib here are the deeds of the land , we want you to build a mosque, and we shall also worship in it, Maulana sahib we want to be Muslim just like you, for today you have proven the beauty and justice of Islam."
Shaykh Illahi Baksh by behaving justly in accordance with the teachings of Islam managed to win over a whole community, they all embraced Islam.
Something to reflect:
How often do we fall into the sin of injustice, we support our relatives in disputes with others even though we know they are wrong, similarly with those who belong to our ethnic group, tribe, clan, and those who are fellow muslim's we seek to make excuses for them in their transgressions towards others.
May Allah give us the Tawfiq and strength to stand for what is just, ameen.
To be aware of neeyat
You are a Muslim when you are with people, but in your lonliness, you are not.
You are servant of Allah when with people, but actually you are servant of money.
This means our intentions are all for this world, but to show others we call ourselves true muslims.
Thanks

Umar Al Farooq(ra). Said:
" Judge Yourselves before you yourselves are judged;and weigh yourselves before you yourselves are weighed in the balance. When you are brought to account tomorrow, it will be much easier for you if you have already brought your selves to account today-so do so, before you come to the final gathering "

Just A thought.
Is it not a case that our own egos can be very deceptive, whilst sometimes our initial intentions, may be pure, We may have a desire to share the words of wisdom and knowledge we have learned, to help benefit others or perhaps we may raise issues as a reminder for ourselves. If we feel proud when others compliment us, or praise us; Then surely we should reflect whether our initial intention has remained pure. Praise from others can ruin a thousand good intentions, the ego is massaged the disease of pride and vanity become dominant in our hearts, we end up engaging in debates to prove the greatness of our knowledge even though we end up neither benefiting ourselves nor others.
May Allah protect us from Vanity and give us the Tawfiq to do good purely for his sake, May Allah protect us all from the excessive praise of others especially a hypocrite like me, ameen.
Two things to think about
Al Hasan Al Basri (ra) said," You always see the believer reproaching himself and saying things like: Did I want this? Why did I do that? Was this a better thing to do or should I have behaved otherwise?
Hazrat Umar Al Farooq (ra) Said:
"The Wisest Of Men is he who can account for his own actions."
May Allah give us all the Tawfiq to examine our own faults and rectify them ameen.
A story to contemplate
1.) He says that we are the servants (and slaves) of Allah subhanahu wa tala,
Yet does the deeds of free people.
2.) He says that Allah subhanahu wa tala is responsible, for our sustenance, yet his heart is not at ease upon this responsibility until at such time that he is not in possession of any worldly material;
3). He says that the hereafter holds virtue over the world, yet he always worries about hoarding wealth for this world (he has no worry for the hereafter);
4.) He says that death is inevitable, it will definitely come, yet his deeds are like those who do not want to die."
In short we spend our whole lives in the pursuit of wealth, material things and violating the rights of others, It fails to register with us that one day we shall die, only our deeds will accompany us to the grave: Often we find people who fall out with their loved ones over something petty, they spend the rest of their lives in enmity, neither willing to apologise, or compromise. If one of them passes away then the one who remains alive is filled with remorse of course by then it is too late to make ammends.
Enhance your good deeds, settle your debts, Make ammends with those whom
you have fallen out with, does it really matter whose right ,or whose in the wrong, Will our status be lowered if we are the ones who compromise and offer an apology.
May Allah give us all the tawfiq to reform ourselves, and a hypocrite like myself
in particular ameen.

Am I ready for it?
Let's say your best friend was a master metaphysician and he made mental notes of everything you talked about. Let's say all your wants, needs, and desires were instantly put into the master metaphysician's "want program" for you, without your knowledge, to be fulfilled. Suppose this "want program" doesn't provide instantaneous results but relies on cause and effect to fulfill the wants -- i.e., you want a new car, and a month later your favorite uncle dies and wills you his 2008 Buick.
Now, here's the rub... You don't know your friend is a master metaphysician, and you may never know. Everything you want and desire is put in the program whether you want it there or not, and you have no idea how long it'll take to fulfill or what circumstances will manifest to make them happen.
Assume all humans had a master metaphysician as a best friend ... all 6 billion of them. Statistically, if 1% of the Earth's population are psychopaths and 15% are schizophrenics, and all their deranged wants and desires become fulfilled with no reasonable restraint, it's no wonder this planet is in the state it's in.
You may be asking yourself at this point, "If I can get anything I want, and I want world peace, why don't we have it?"
Because some wants take more time than others. You wouldn't play the slot machines if you had to wait a month to see if you won. If 2% of humanity wanted world peace we'd have it, but a longer program like world peace usually takes a back seat to instant gratification like dinner or getting laid, which could be fulfilled by Saturday night.
The 1-percenters, the psychopaths that rule the world, are forming their world government through chaos and control because they collectively want it, and have wanted it for a long, long time.
Think how the world would be if only 50% of humanity wanted world peace, end of hunger, enlightenment for all, and instantaneous fulfillment of wants and needs on a personal scale.
We're moving in a direction that shortens the time between wanting something and having something. Eventually, time and space will converge to make everything instantaneous. That time is 2012. Is it?
Are you ready for it? Am I ?

if Education is wrong
- to instill cult like uniformity?
- to encourage independent thinking
- to prepare for a life time of work
- to understand how to work in a social group or a family unit
- to learn a basic knowledge of current world concepts
- to think out of the box
- to build upon the thoughts of those who have gone before
- what is current education good at and what is it lacking
- why is classical education and reading a good idea
- should all persons be given the luxury of education
- is education something that should be deserved or earned rather than force fed from childhood onwards?
- how to know what education a child will benefit from
- why is so much knowledge necessary
- who decides what a child should learn
- why is esoteric knowledge widely held a bad idea
- the importance of teaching unbiased history
- the role of ego in deciding what will be taught or not: the nation's ego, its leaders ego, the collective sense of shame in telling truth or lying about historical fact
- the ego's need for dynastic rule
- the relevance of the ego in anything at all
- what would the world look like if it were to not exist

If religion is wrong
- no religious concepts have lasted very long before they were hijacked
- no real religion tells its followers to 'not think'
- any that does so is already hijacked and not what it originally was
- what is religion really: a basis for understanding some part of life: our purpose, what comes after death; why be born; what controls everything etc
- the truth behind Christ or christ consciousness ?
- What is really behind Mohammed's Allah?
- Earth religions and pagan religions
- the appeal of buddhism; original buddhist thought?
- Judaism and the martyr mode
- How all these can possibly come under a common umbrella: or how they all started out good but were hijacked for a base purpose to divide and rule
If healthcare is wrong
- the current concepts of healthcare ensures that we are repeat customers
- that we are not partners in taking care of our own bodies
- that the docs know better ; that FDA knows better or that anyone other than us knows better
- in reality however healthcare is so distant from what the body that is in misalignment with perfect health needs
- works from a position of 'perfect knowledge' yet the basis on which that knowledge is based so skewed: garbage in garbage out
- comparing countries with insurance and without: the empowerment that comes with self care
If aging is wrong

Acceptance of the ultimate reality

Interplay of the consciousnesses
- Control of thoughts
- Control of emotions
- As above so below ~ contemplate on the spiritual /astral/physical realms
- the subconscious does not know the difference between real and imagined
- All is One and All is sacred: what does this mean to me: what is my all and thus what is sacred to me?
Thoughts during lunchtime
A timely reminder
-Bible (Jeremiah 29:13)
Inside the Kaaba it doesn't matter which direction you point your prayer rug.
Moses heard a shepherd on the road praying,
"God,
Where are you? I want to help you, to fix your shoes
and comb your hair. I want to wash your clothes
and pick the lice off. I want to bring you milk
to kiss your little hands and feet when it's time
for you to go to bed. I want to sweep your room
and keep it neat. God, my sheep and goats
are yours. All I can say, remembering you,
is ayyyy and ahhhhhhhh."
Moses could stand it no longer.
"Who are you talking to?"
"The one who made us,
and made the earth and made the sky."
"Don't talk about shoes
and socks with God! And what's this with your little hands
and feet? Such blasphemous familiarity sounds like
you're chatting with your uncles.
Only something that grows
needs milk. Only someone with feet needs shoes. Not God!
Even if you meant God's human representatives,
as when God said, 'I was sick and you did not visit me,'
even then this tone would be foolish and irreverent.
Use appropriate terms. Fatima is a fine name
for a woman, but if you call a man Fatima,
it's an insult. Body-and-birth language
are right for us on this side of the river,
but not for addressing the origin,
not for Allah."
The shepherd repented and tore his clothes and sighed
and wandered into the desert.
A sudden revelation
came then to Moses. God's voice:
You have separated
me from one of my own. Did you come as a Prophet to unite,
or to sever?
I have given each being a separate and unique way
of seeing and knowing and saying that knowledge.
What seems wrong for you is right for him.
What is poisonous to one is honey to someone else.
Purity and impurity, sloth and diligence in worship,
these mean nothing to me.
I am apart from all that.
Ways of worshipping are not to be ranked as better
or worse than one another.
Hindus do Hindu things.
the Dravidian Muslims in India do what they do.
It's all praise, and it's all right.
It's not me that's glorified in acts of worship.
It's the worshipers! I don't hear the words
they say. I look inside at the humility.
That broken-open lowliness is the reality,
not the language! Forget phraseology.
I want burning, burning.
Be friends
with your burning. Burn up your thinking
and your forms of expression!
Moses,
those who pay attention to ways of behaving
and speaking are one sort.
Lovers who burn
are another.
Don't impose a property tax
on a burned-out village. Don't scold the Lover.
The "wrong" way he talks is better than a hundred
"right" ways of others.
Inside the Kaaba
it doesn't matter which direction you point
your prayer rug!
The ocean diver doesn't need snowshoes!
The love-religion has not code or doctrine.
Only God.
So the ruby has nothing engraved on it!
It doesn't need markings.
God began speaking
deeper mysteries to Moses. Vision and words,
which cannot be recorded here, poured into
and through him. He left himself and came back.
He went to eternity and came back here.
Many times this happened.
It's foolish of me
to try and say this. If I did say it,
it would uproot human intelligences.
It would shatter all writing pens.
Moses ran after the shepherd.
He followed the bewildered footprints,
in one place moving straight like a castle
across a chessboard. In another, sideways,
like a bishop.
Now surging like a wave cresting,
now sliding down like a fish,
with always his feet
making geomancy symbols in the sand,
recording
his wandering state.
Moses finally caught up
with him.
"I was wrong. God has revealed to me
that there are no rules for worship.
Say whatever
and however your loving tells you to. Your sweet blasphemy
is the truest devotion. Through you a whole world
is freed.
Loosen your tongue and don't worry what comes out,
It's all the light of the spirit."
The shepherd replied,
"Moses, Moses,
I've gone beyond even that.
You applied the whip and my horse shied and jumped
on itself. The divine nature of my human nature
came together.
Bless your scolding hand and your arm.
I can't say what has happened.
What I'm saying now
is not my real condition. It can't be said."
The shepherd grew quiet.
When you look in a mirror,
you see yourself, not the state of the mirror.
The flute player puts breath into the flute,
and who makes the music? Not the flute,
The flute player!
Whenever you speak praise
or thanksgiving to God, it's always like
this dear shepherd's simplicity.
When you eventually see
through the veils to how things really are,
you will keep saying again
and again,
"This is certanly not like
we thought it was!"

First Few Chillahs : Some Important Conclusions
First Few Chillahs : Some General Conclusions
Chillahs
to think well of myself and think of what is the best i can be in my old format:
A: academic; not necessarily related to medicine
B: body; physical fitness; good health; meditation etc
C : career and calling.
D: diet, and concepts of nutrition.
The journey so far - part 1
- clean living
- getting the dunya out of the way early
- good relationships all around
- a sense of yearning and desire to know
- Be as an orphan in this world: self sufficient, people should know you for you, your character, your morals, your good nature and not for your 'things', your 'connections' etc.
- Practice a lifetime of truthfulness, clean living, simple tastes etc.
- work hard and comply with the rules of the dunya to get your ducks in a row, have enough to live on, and thus free yourself from the rat race. when you work hard and for the money, do not run after excessive money for you will never have enough, rather do it so you can live undisturbed and move on to higher things
- establish and invest the time and effort it takes to create and maintain good relationships. The peace of mind this brings allows one to move onto higher things, and provides the support system all of us need in this lifetime. Be prepared to give a lot to your close relationships and spend time and care and mindfulness on them. Family first, the rest of the world later.
- establish a lifetime in contemplation away from the madding crowd. Write your thoughts, blog if you have to, preserve the thoughts of others that resonate with you, try to dream at night, and keep a record of that as well, understand plants, animals, children: they are yet in great contact with our origins.
- do not get too much in your head: stay grounded. Work in your home, garden, office with clear neeyat, intention and happiness, knowing that everything you do is spiritual and full of energy and intention. If you dust your home make neeyat for it, if you water your plants, talks to them too. When you start something see the end result with happiness, if you sit with your loved ones hold their hand , soothe their worries away. if you are a mother or father there is no greater blessing: A has given you one of his own to nurture and comfort.
- do not think of your self as being better than others becasue you think deeply or more sincerely than them. this is the ultimate pride trap.
