if Education is wrong

what is the underlying purpose of education:
  • to instill cult like uniformity?
  • to encourage independent thinking
  • to prepare for a life time of work
  • to understand how to work  in a social group or a family unit
  • to learn a basic knowledge of current world concepts
  • to think out of the box
  • to build upon the thoughts of those who have gone before
  • what is current education good at and what is it lacking
  • why is classical education and reading a good idea
  • should all persons be given the luxury of education
  • is education something that should be deserved  or earned rather than force fed from childhood onwards?
  • how to know what education a child will benefit from
  • why is so much knowledge necessary
  • who decides what a child should learn
  • why is esoteric knowledge widely held a bad idea
  • the importance of teaching unbiased history
  • the role of ego in deciding what will be taught or not: the nation's ego, its leaders ego, the collective sense of shame in telling truth or lying about historical fact
  • the ego's need for dynastic rule
  • the relevance of the ego in anything at all
  • what would the world look like if it were to not exist
